Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo, in the North of Spain. She studied first in Madrid and subsequently in Italy where in 1989 she graduated from the Milan Polytechnic. Although she is one of the most important figures of modern Italian design, she feels also very attached to her Spanish roots and traditions.

Her designs transform the traditional function of design into unique, sometimes amorphous, elements designed to make people feel good in their environments.

Table bases made of steel with a powder coated finish in either black or white. The top is in HP mineral composite or Deco-veneer.
