barcelonaŽ table Designed by Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe
Designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for his 1929 Barcelona Pavilion, the
BarcelonaŽ coffee table displays the pure compositional structure that
epitomizes modern architecture.
Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's signature is stamped into the base. Top is
3/4" thick clear polished plate glass with 1/8" wide beveled
edge. Also available with Starphire Glass, an exceptionally clear glass
without the green tint seen in so many glass table tops. Base is available
in premium grade 202 bar stock stainless steel hand-ground and hand-buffed
to a mirror finish or in chrome finish. Single piece base construction
ensures long term durability. Clear glass has a slight green cast to it. Starfire glass is nearer to
crystal clear and slightly more expensive. Winner of The Museum of Modern Art Award.
